This Hotel was built in the 50's but it is a hidden treasure. Old school architecture that I really loved. Nice pool, walk out to the beach. Great value. we could stand on our balcony and see the ocean. I will say they were doing some updating to the outside so could not comment on that. Our room had a little kitchen, fridge, stove and microwave. Would be a nice place for an extended stay. Starbucks was a mile down the beach, so I was able to walk there.

Getting double charged before arriving really set the tone. This place is decrepit!! It smells like hot dogs and perfume. The ocean view is completely covered by construction netting. The balcony is no longer separated by room. The whole floor shares one balcony and it's creepy. I would have appreciated that information before paying for an ocean view...twice. The pool is closed and you cannot access the beach after sunset. Thankful for the bodega in the lobby so we could get a beverage after 8pm since none of the soda machines work. The $15 per day resort fee only gets you 2 bottles of 'complimentary' water and some pool towels. It states it includes beach chairs and umbrellas but those cost $10-$20 each. After all is said and done I have paid $546 for 1 night including $100 deposit. Steer clear!!

Big shout out to Clifford R who checked us in very late at night . He was excellent. I added one star mainly for him. I liked the view of sea from our balcony. The rooms are pretty good size. There was coffee n microwave in our room which was helpful. Location this hotel is in makes everything very easy. There is a bus stop couple of feet from the hotel. I liked the walk to ocean from pool option. Pool bar is very good as well. House keeping comes every 3 days so you can get it cleaned if you like. Overall recommend people to stay here.

We stayed here for three weeks when we were in-between two rentals. The room was very nice and included a kitchen for cooking which saved us a lot of money. We had only planned on being there for a few days but our move in date was delayed. Every time we needed to extend our stay, the employees were professional and always assisted us in getting a good rate. The view is beautiful and waking up there every morning was a pleasure.

I want to thank Whitney for checking me smoothly. Not only was she pleasant but once I mentioned that my son booked the room for a quick staycation, she upgraded me to very nice room. Although I didn’t get to interact directly with the other 2 front desk agents Roi and Ingrid by just listening to their interactions with their guests showed me that this is an amazing staff. Everyone that came in walked away smiling. Keep up the good work!!! I look forward in exploring the rest of the amenities the hotel has to offer! My room was clean nice and simple and had the things guests need… fridge and microwave coffee maker. Thanks again Whitney!

Hotel velho que cheira a cigarro logo na entrada! Chegamos as 00:30 cansados carregados de malas e criança de colo e não tinha nenhum funcionário para ajudar com as bagagens! Vc mesmo tem que se virar! Pegar o carrinho(tem que dar sorte, pois só tem 1 no hotel) carregar, levar para seu quarto e depois devolver! Quarto absurdamente cheirando a cigarro! Tivemos que abrir a janela(que não parava aberta pois estava quebrada) e ficar quase 1 hora fora do quarto) para ver se diminuia o cheiro. Bem longe dos 2 outlets(Sawgrass e Dolplin) cerca de 40 minutos. Atendimento geral ruim! Não recomendo!

Cheguei hoje neste hotel e fiquei muito decepcionado começando que logo na entrada só tinha um carrinho para carregar as malas e demorou muito para chegar até nós que resolvemos levar nas mãos mesmo, pois o carrinho chegou já estávamos entrando no elevador! Chegando no quarto número 319 com um cheiro horrível que na hora já atacou a rinite dos meus filhos ,as paredes descascando os móveis velhos que as gavetas da comoda não abrem direito, a banheira velha e pingando! Gentilmente fui até a recepção e gentilmente fui atendido pela recepcionista que me informou que os quartos são particulares e que a manutenção são feitas pelos donos do quarto! Então ela me passou outro quarto, o 428 onde estou agora, é bem melhor que o outro mas também com muitos defeitos, principalmente nos móveis que também são velhos, nem reclamei mais porque já era 1:00 da manhã e estava com minha família cansada com horas de estrada, resolvi deixar quieto! Só quero deixar registrada minha insatisfação com este hotel e com o descaso de alugarem quartos de tão baixa qualidade, numa rede que considerava muito boa pois acabei de ficar 12 dias num ótimo quarto em Orlando no Ramada plaza na international drive e fiquei muito satisfeito!

In the middle of remodeling but didn't affect guests at all. Our room had just been updated and was lovely. Beds were comfortable and big sliding door to personal patio. View of city and inland waterways. Quiet and right on beach. Valet parking only so when you need your car, request it early, sometimes wait up to 30 min if you don't call. Would definitely stay here again!

We were in for only one night during spring break. the front desk staff was very good to us. Anna checked us in, she helped us with a very nice room and explained the facilities, parking and resort fees. we were able to hit the beach and pool in the afternoon and again for the whole next day. We enjoyed the Italian food in our room. Diana C checked us out and was very warm and friendly. We know it is not easy dealing with tourist sometimes. This place is an older hotel that is kept very clean with miner aging issues. We felt that we received very good value for our money. We will be back. thank you, Richard & Monica

We stayed 2 months and yes the resort is old however our condo unit was newly renovated by the owner and was very modern and comfortable. Amazing beach front view! The staff were all great but a few need to be recognized. Omar and Alex at the desk were awesome, super friendly, always went out of there way to talk to you even on their time off, true gentleman! The Valet was always very busy however Marianna and Santiago were amazing. Always professional and courteous. Always helpful and pleasant, had a lot of fun chatting with you two. Great job to you all, hope to see you there next year!! Management make sure these four get recognized, very lucky to have them.

Durante nuestra estadía no tuvimos limpieza de la habitación, además no hicieron recambio de los amenities... Baño en mal estado y con mucha humedad, además de encontrarse en arreglo y eso nos estropeo la vista. Hablamos español y el personal no presentaba buena disposición para comunicarse. No lo recomiendo para una estadia de varios días.

Bastante bueno el lugar esta justo en Sunny Isles, tiene salida a la playa y buena piscina, eché de menos el desayuno, pero tienen valet parking, muy buen lugar todo limpio y agradable.

Excelente lente lugar, relación precio calidad impecable, las áreas comunes muy grandes y bien diseñadas, gimnasio con todo equipamiento nuevo de los mejores que vi. Todo el personal muy atento, la única contra es que cuando fui el hotel estaba en remodelación por suerte mi habitación no está cerca de esas áreas.

El Hotel esta viejo pero limpio, pero la atención el front desk es horrible. Mujeres con pésima decepción y cero visión de atención al cliente. Las habitaciones son amplias pero ojo no hacen las piezas todos los días, cada 3 días. Hay que pedir papel higiénico y toallas porque tampoco las colocan ya que no hacen aseo. La piscina y el sector de la playa es aceptable. Si si quieres alguna ayuda de parte de la atención el cliente olvídala.

Great location. Old hotel but room was clean. John in pool security was awesome & very helpful. Outside restaurant was nice. Cook was good and a hard worker.Outside bar was nice but servers need trained to acknowledge customers in the order the come up. There was SEVERAL times when the bartender did not ask who was there first & took care of the outspoken (or her friends) first. One guy literally walked up and said you have pretty eyes. She took care of him immediately even tho there was 3 other groups waiting for drinks.There are several windows to order. If the bartender can't distinguish who was first, then why not designate one window for walk ups? We only have so many hours that we're on vacation, so time matters.Especially since you force a 17% tip on guests. To be clear, I don't mind that as long as it's good service & your taking customers in the order they approach.I know that Miami is very diverse and it's hard to find workers right now anywhere but there were multiple times when we could not communicate with workers. Housekeepers, valet and around the pool. There has to be someone around who can break that language barrier. It was very frustrating. My wife knows some basic Spanish but it was useless. We could not communicate with the housekeeper whatsoever. Props to the maintenance guy tho. He was next door & I told him my safe didn't work. He replaced the battery & fixed it on the spot. Thank you!I asked the valet to have my car ready the next morning. She looked at me and said 8:32 (am) so I assumed I was good to go. The next morning we came out at 8:30 and no car. I had to request it using the app. It takes 15+ min to get your car because it's across the street and everything around there is a one way street. We didn't get out of there until 8:55. We were almost late for our flight.Tough call on rating. I would do 3.5 starts but that's not an option so I will go 4 stars mostly bc the front desk was great & the workers were all friendly which goes along way

I booked a king size room. When we arrived I was told they had none due to water issues. I was assured I would be moved to a king room when one opened up.I checked their site and it showed that king rooms were available but I never heard another word nor was I offered a refund of any kind.Room was dirty. Ottoman had stains all over it.Floor was visibly dirty and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time.Air conditioning didn’t work unless it was turned down to 55 degrees.Valet was a total joke.Had no idea what they were doing!!!They asked for something different every time and even lost our keys at one point. The 3 stars this shows on Google is generous at best.

The beach is nice, the pool area is nice. However, they lock the gates to the beach at sunset and I want to be able to walk on the beach anytime. They close the pool at 6, that's way too early. The pool was freezing for the 3 days we were there. The day we were leaving they turned the heaters on and warmed it up. When you walk into the pool area they give you a wristband like a little kid at an amusement park. They don't even ask for your info, they just put it on you, why? Decent place but pretty run down. The valet brought us the wrong car lol had to wait another several min for our car.

Would have loved to give 5 stars but couldn't.Room was clean and didn't smell which is the reason I didn't give 3 stars. Beach was great. Fitness room needs a little help (Very limited which is ok) but the equipment is in great need of service (loud and squeaky). Valet was nice but would have liked to park and go without. Now the real big issue!! We got woke up by window repair men. For at least 2 hours they were outside our room. Hotel shouldhave told them not to workon certain rooms .

The Ramada was a great little get away for my birthday weekend. The staff there were so nice, fun and courteous.They gave me a beautiful room with an amazing view. My son loved his stay there. The pool was warm and we were right on the beach. We were even able to go to the beach at night and watch the waves under the stars. It was a very enjoyable weekend. Only thing is that in some areas the hotel still needs repairs and remodeling and it would have been nice if there were more shops opened and the restaurant at the pool really needs to add more items and improve on selection especially for breakfast.They had eggs or pancakes and not much else and super pricey.I ended up ordering IHOP.The little kiosk cafe had better food offering croissants and pastries.But still had a wonderful weekend.

Muy buen lugar para quedarse frente al mar (a metros de la playa) tiene piscina con agua climatizada muy linda ( Doris, la señora que atiende en el pool es muy atenta), con un bar de tragos y comidas rápida. Tiene también un gimnasio y estacionamiento. La habitación tiene kitchenette. Es un poco viejo pero muy conveniente costo-beneficio. Le pongo un 9/10.

La playa es una maravilla ! Disfrutamos de nuestra estancia, Hotel muy bien ubicado, nos encantó,y lo recomendaron ,lo que más nos gustó fue la atención ,el trato y cariño de Susana !!! Gracias Ramada !!

We stayed here during the holidays and it was horrible. Don’t expect to receive any service. I called prior to arrival to request a crib, confirmed again at check-in, then later called from the room to remind. They said they’ll bring it in and they never did. If it’s too late or not available, just let us know so that we didn’t have to wait til mid night for it. Same thing with towels, you’ll get new towels every 3 days when they clean the rooms. We went to the receptionist asking for towels, they said to put in request with room service. We called room service, they sent us to the receptionist. Basically they just kept sending us around with no intention to give us new towels. If that’s the hotel policy that new towels every 3 days only, AGAIN, just let us know so that we can use our towel sparingly, don’t lie to us and waste our time running around asking for it. There are 3 guest elevators + 2 service elevators but only 2 of them working. The room service team had to share elevator with guests and it was a mad scene during rush hours (10 am - 12 pm). People argued trying to get into one after waiting 20-30 minutes for it. I believe it’s because of the poor and neglect management but not the employees to blame. There might be a 20 minutes wait to get your car but I see the valet team working hard on it & we appreciate their service. Amenities, as poor as other reviews had mentioned. Our bathroom door couldn’t be closed. Half of our lights not working, we had a few dinners in the dark. Dirty bedsheet that had stinky smell. Please save your vacation and book somewhere else.

Las habitaciones son aceptables, algo viejas. El hotel no es muy bonito, no hay muchos lugares donde comer. El servicio a la habitación no es bueno, es cada 3 días. Para el tercer día me despertó un fuerte ruido de taladro al lado de mi habitación, bajé a quejarme a la recepción y me cambiaron de habitación de mala gana. El servicio es malo, la mayoría de personas (recepción, restaurantes, etc) no son amables. No volvería a este lugar.

Quarto legal, espaçoso e limpo, unico problema é que a janela da varanda não trancava direito, e as varandas são todas unidas com um muro baixo, em torno de 1m de altura, deixando o quarto e a varando com menos privacidade, se deixasse a cortina aberta era possível o vizinho me ver deitado na cama. O hotel oferece serviço de estacionamento com manobrista(cobrado a parte), onde é necessario avisar que vai utilizar o carro com 15 min de antecedencia, acaba sendo incomodo caso entre e saia bastante do hotel, tendo toda vez que deixar o carro e esperar novamente para buscarem. Fiquei descontente com o check-in, pois havia um problema de pagamento por parte da agencia de turismo e nada foi informado, só fiquei sabendo na hora que cheguei e tive que aguardar por 2 horas na recepção até resolverem. Somente me foi proposto pagar pela estadia (novamente) para depois de tudo resolvido eu ser reembolsado.

No dia da reserva nos disseram que tinha estava incluído o estacionamento o café da manhã e o taxa do check in quando chegamos tudo isso tivemos que pagar extra sem contar que nos colocaram em quarto que era um lixo, me recusei em ficar no primeiro quarto daí nos mudaram para um melhor, mais enfim o hotel estragou bastante as férias de minha família.

16 years later we returned for our Anniversary and had the best time ever! The staff were polite and very helpful. Beside the amazing ocean views, our favorite part of this vacation was the Pool Bar and Grill. Susana made us feel at home with her exceptional service! She made us the best Coconut Mojito! We highly recommend Marco Polo as we will be back again soon...

We come here often. Every time it is such a wonderful experience. Charles was beyond helpful to ensure we had a good room. The view was breathtaking. We could just stare at the ocean for days. The front desk staff were friendly. Valet was great. Pizza place had amazing food. The gentlemen who helped us carry our luggage up to our room were helpful. Gym is nice to have. The pool was perfect. Great chairs to lay out on and the water was the right temperature.

This place deserves negative stars, my first room had hairs from someone shaving all over the vanity also the chairs were broken which is a safety hazard. I asked to upgrade so I paid $100 for two nights to upgrade, walking towards the new room the carpets in the hallway that lead to the room smell like mold and they have fans to dry them from either a leak or ?? This room had pillows with stains and the worse thing was the bed had little bugs coming out that looked like small roaches but I have no idea what it was. I began feeling very itchy, shower looked filthy. Definitely the rooms are not being thoroughly cleaned and sanitized it is a safety hazard. My gf asked for a full refund and we booked somewhere else, we weren’t the only ones with issues other couples/family with issues as well.Don’t bother booking here they will laugh about your situation. Worse experience ever with a hotel.

Where do I start? We booked an early flight and confirmed with the hotel that there was an early check in option, and they confirmed there was. We arrived at 11 and the ladies at the desk said it was way too early to check in but if we came back at 12 they could check us in because house keeping would have gotten go our room by then. We came back at 12:50 and we were met with a manager who said what we were told isn’t something their staff would say, and that we misunderstood. We clearly heard what they said. He said he contacted house cleaning and told them we were there but couldn’t hurry anything along. We sat in the lobby for almost 3 hours waiting for our room and just before 4 they told us it was ready (4 is normal checkin time). The room was a disaster, dirty and poor workmanship by whoever worked on this room. I’ve never seen a hotel that had so many ants all over the place, so we couldn’t leave anything out in fear that ants would get it. The caulk around the shower was peeling, molding and completely discolored. No room service to clean the room, the floors are a mess, there are brown stains all over the bed sheets. The fridge doesn't go below 40 degrees. The air conditioners doesn't work and the lowest we got the room was 72 degrees, and that was only after leaving the air conditioner on for hours on end. The water was shut off today for an hour and the power went out we had to walk up and down 11 floors because the elevator wasn't working. I wondered out to the pool and after spending money at the bar and getting food, I asked for a cup of water and the lady at the desk pointed to a sign that said “Cup of Water $2.95.” After staying at this place a few days wandering around and looking at the outside structure, this looks like the next Miami building collapse. Cracks so bad in the concrete that your can see the rebar. Paint and mortar falling off the building all over the place. Watch your head, you might get hit. To keep the review short, I’ll stop here but trust me there is way more to go on about. I found out early in my stay it’s useless to talk to any staff as they are so rude and not willing to accommodate.

If I could give a negative star, I would. This place has the absolute worse valet service I have ever had. I was late to an important appointment having to wait 40 minutes for my car. The following day they couldn’t even find my car!The entire hotel staff is RUDE. When you go to the pool, you’ll feel like you’re constantly being guarded.Rooms are old and nasty.The elevator, hallway lights, and stair lights shut down 3 times during our stay causing us to walk down so many flights of stairs.Sunny Isles is beautiful though.

This hotels valet service is the worst I’ve ever experienced. It is worse than waiting for public transportation. Every time I need my car, I have to expect a minimum 20 minute wait. It is literal torture. Several times I have asked them to give me my key so I can go across the street to go get my car myself. It is incredibly irritating. Do not use the valet service if you stay here.The pool is nice. The hotel is on the older side. Sunny isles is nice.

La habitación no estaba muy limpia, los detalles del baño, puertas, bisagras de las ventanas y otros estaban oxidados, los ambientes son muy húmedos y el baño tuvo perdida de agua además que la tapa del inodoro estaba muy sucia y de mal aspecto... Creo que la 1ra impresión no estuvo buena. Escogí el hotel por estar cerca del Aventura y algo bueno es que ofrecen Valet Parking...

The location is pretty good, right on the ocean, but the rooms were old, needed repair and looked shabby. The room was not clean when we checked in. There were hair on the bathroom floor and sink. I called housekeeping and no one picked up. I had to go to the lobby to speak to someone and there was only one staff person at the from reception and a line of people. Had to wait in line to ask them to send someone to clean the room. She informed that housekeeping are gone for the day but she said she can send someone to clean the bathroom floor. The price was not a good value for the hotel. It smelled like pot everywhere, not that they control what people smoke but maybe better ventilation system could help. We had a balcony that had partial ocean view, it was nice but there was blue painters tape on the door...I gave it 2 stars b/c of the location and pool and beach area, if not for that,one star it is. I wouldn't go back to that hotel. Better spend more money and not worry about if the sheets and towels are clean.

The hotel was clean and well appointed. Aiden in reservations was very personable. He made my check-in a breeze . Parking is the first impression of any busy strip hotel. I met Valet manager James Howard upon my arrival. He is a professional! He greeted me and took care of my parking needs. I was so very impressed on how quickly I was able to enter and exit the hotel with the attentiveness of the valet staff he supervises, it took my entire stress away! A shout out to Mr. Pierre, the night valet! This place was amazing!

Es un hotel bastante clásico por no decirlo viejo. El personal es muy atento. Las filas del check in son muy largas. Llegue a las 4 y mi habitación no estaba lista. Lo favorable de este hotel la cercanía a la playa y el precio económico

Level set your expectations and this place is great. Don't expect much. Don't expect good restaurants, or any of that. Get one of the newer renovated rooms and you'll be fine, it's clean. Beach and pool access for a relatively cheap rate. You get what you pay for and its very true here. Perfect if with kids. Personally, I would not stay here if was just me and my wife.

Started with valet parking only and first was informed by them that we had to request the car 15min before we wanted to get the car. Then as we checked in we we told ask for your car 30 min before you want it. Then another told us ask for it 45 min. When we went to check out we called and were told it will be available in 30 min. Well it wasn’t 40 min later it finally was there. We checked out the day after we arrived because first the place had no restaurant except a pizza place and no bar as listed and the closest place was over 30 minutes walking distance. The pool was great but it closed at 7:30 no drinks unless bought at their bar was allowed. They had a lot of shops all but 1 were closed. Our room was good and a great view but the slider was old and leaked air and hard to open. The tv receiver was held by a water bottle provided by the hotel. The elevator was a joke. Had to wait 20 min just to go up or down. Each time their were construction workers in them so we couldn’t get in and wait again. We were supposed to stay 3 nights and decided it wasn’t worth it and checked our the next morning. However it is a beautiful building and if properly maintained it would definitely be worth the stay.

Tuvimos buena vista al mar y buenas camas. Los empleados amables. Pero esta muy deteriorado le faltaba una puerta al closet, el baño necesita mucha reparación te ofrecen u a cocinita sin utensilios necesarios para usar la. No jabón de fregar como usar los pocos utensilios que hay sin saber si realmente alguien los limpio. Deja mucho que pensar.

Nas duas vezes que estivemos hospedados neste hotel, falo que o tratamento na recepção, no restaurante, acomodações, fomos muito bem recebidos. Gostei muito do café da manhã e também da loja e cantina que tem no sub solo. A praia fica em frente e ótimas piscinas. única coisa que não gostamos foi do carpete nos quartos. Deveriam colocar outro tipo de piso. Mas eu recomendo.

Muito ruimmm, os imóveis tudo velhos eenferrujados, paga 20 dólares por dia, uma demora de 30 a 40 minutos para trazer o carro, falta de respeito, as camareiras mau educadas, tinha que pedir sempre ,limpar o quarto não tinha um horário determinado, não recomendo .

Ótimo Hotel para ficar em Miami. Hotel bem localizado, quartos amplos com mini cozinha....para quem preferir fazer seu próprio café da manhã. O café da manhã no Ramada tem pouca variedade de itens.

Hotel muito velho , móveis velhos , a varanda nao tem piso , tudo muito antigo sem acabamento , não oferecem nada e cobram r$ 20 dólares por diapra estacionar seu carro . atendimento ruim , cobram caro pelos serviços. Pedi uma encomeda pela Amazon e eu mesmo fiquei aguardando no saguão a entrega e me obrigaram a pagar um valor altíssimo $ 35 dólares ,somente por que usei o endereço deles para a entrega porém eu mesma que recebi , não usei do serviço deles mas mesmo assim me cobraram .Não recomendo a ninguém .

O hotel é velho, mas sei principal defeito é o atendimento. Funcionários mal educados são a regra. O carregador de malas reclamou que eu estava levando muita mala; a unidade foi entregue com um bolo de cabelos entupindo a pia do banheiro, que permaneceu ali após a visita de uma profissional de limpeza do hotel que fez pouco caso daquele "detalhe"; por fim, uma funcionária do controle de toalhas de praia/piscina, além da má vontade, era muito mal educada. Ainda cobraram uma "taxa de resort" bem salgada, sendo que passou longe qualquer serviço de resort ali... A única coisa que salvou foi a praia mesmo, em frente ao hotel. Mas essa não dependia do hotel, né? Não recomendo de modo algum!
